Washington DC Trip

Just returned from a great visit to Washington. We visited several museums and galleries. I recommend the Natl' Portrait Gallery on the Mall (site of Lincoln's inaugural ball in 1865). I also recommend staying at The River Inn. My wife and I have stayed at RI on two seperate occasions. Located around the corner from George Washington Univ. Hospital and within walking distance to Georgetown. Easy access to RI in from Natl' airport via the metro (Foggy Bottom stop). Dulles requires a bus ride to the metro.
