SALE - Selected Studio Display Prints

Selected portrait prints which we have displayed in our studio over the past 5 years are available for $15 dollars each - any size. Sizes range from 5X7 to 30X40. All prints will be sold unframed. This sale will last until January 1st 2009.

Another Halloween has come and gone at our studio.
Thank you to all kids and their parents who stopped by for candy and a photo. We look forward to next year's crew.

Drop by again on Saturday, November 22nd between 10:30AM and 3PM. We are celebrating our 5th year in our Downtown Lathrop Studio. To add some cheer in this economic downturn, we are offering family portraits for only $20.00. One family group per photo (maximum of 5 members per group) Walk-ins only. You will recieve one 8X10 or 2 - 5X7's. All prints will be delivered via USPS.

Students of the class of '09 are enjoying their last summer as a highschool student. While you are comtemplating your final year, or just enjoying the summer with no thought of the upcoming school year, you might allocate a little thought to Senior Pics! Whether you hire a professional or shoot your own, it is a great point in life to document who you are - you, your friends, your stuff.

Our studio offers in studio and location sessions. We are still rehabing from the February fire which destroyed three buildings on the east side of our studio, but we hope to be up and running by late July. In the studio we use taylored lighting combined with minimal background elements and design to create a portrait of you that will have visual relevance for years to come.

Spring is wet and long this year. The usual sudden onset of summer heat is holding off for now. We have had the usual crop of wild rabbits in our yard this year. Jenny captured a couple of images of the spring babies.

The downtown Lathrop fire of Februthary 11, temporarily somked us out of operation at our studio. We are still up and running for location work. For information contact me by email at carllocke@sbcglobal.net . Another important piece of info - I am switching from a land line at the studio to a cell phone for convenience and better connectivity with my clients.

I don't have a studio opening date yet because we are still working through fire related issues with our insurance, the city, and the demolition work. FIRE SALE!!! Washington DC Trip

Just returned from a great visit to Washington. We visited several museums and galleries. I recommend the Natl' Portrait Gallery on the Mall (site of Lincoln's inaugural ball in 1865). I also recommend staying at The River Inn. My wife and I have stayed at RI on two seperate occasions. Located around the corner from George Washington Univ. Hospital and within walking distance to Georgetown. Easy access to RI in from Natl' airport via the metro (Foggy Bottom stop). Dulles requires a bus ride to the metro.
